I'm Shantanu Chakraborty, the founder of DivyaVastram. For over 20 years, I worked in India's e-commerce and supply chain industry — including with companies like Snapdeal and Meesho — learning firsthand what it takes to source products honestly and get them to customers the right way.
This business was born from something more personal. A visit to Vrindavan left a deep impression on me — a real connection to Kanha, and to Jagannath ji in particular. Around the same time, I found myself at the wholesale poshak markets of Mathura, seeing up close the incredible craftsmanship that goes into dressing Laddu Gopal. That's when it became clear: this was the path I wanted to take.
DivyaVastram is a new venture, built on an old devotion. Every poshak we offer is sourced directly from artisans and wholesalers in Mathura — the traditional home of this craft.
How we work
